Suspect a lot of the 'laws' are utter rubbish, but good fun to read none the less

I feel a trip to York next Saturday coming on.

Kevscar
I've invited a few senior MP's to York for you next Saturday.
Good hunting.

The most sensible laws seem to be those of Singapore, at least there is a reason for them.

Not so much a weird law, but a pointless one:

United Kingdom (introduced 1836) - it is illegal to ride a cycle on the pavement.

Uhh, when did you last see a bloody cycle being ridden anywhere but on the pavement??

I remember reading of a law in one of tthe sates in the USA which stated " if two trains arrive at a level crossing at the same time, neither must move till the other has gone".

lofty29. That sounds more like Ireland than the USA. Mind you the Irish are pretty thick on the ground in the USA I believe.

Bingalau... I'm Irish. :|

Funny how you can make jokes about the Irish, but if you made the same jokes about the Poles, as do most of the rest of the mainland, you would be regarded as racist.
