this morning saw a flottila of old wooden cruisers [all in good condition] going up the thames, all had old vets dressed in their beret, blazer and a chest of medals, all the boats had a george cross flag flying with a yellow shield in the centre of the cross.

is today any special anniversary just curious could not find anything on google.

flag maybe the "dunkirk jack" flag flying hence the old boats but still not sure as the dunkirk jack did not have a yellow shield with a coat of arms in the centre
