I have seen a wooden one you can sit on but it does not have pedals. The only flaw is it is only for up to 3/4 year olds.

Looked at the sellotape rolls for pedals and decided that as soon as you try pedal up a hill they will break.I would've been more convinced it works had I seen someone actually ride it.Perhaps the final design will have been set on fire first,then it could be classed as carbon-fibre. :)
