Two questions.

  spikeychris 19:17 26 Oct 2004

But first a comment. The net can feel a small place when you see the same names on different forums. I use the same name IE: spikeychris everywhere I go on-line as this I feel is my virtual identity. I couldn't even contemplate using anything wouldn't be me.

Question 1: Do you use the same name elsewhere?

Question 2: Do you go elsewhere? As in other forums? No links please.

Yes and No, Yes. But this may not be a surprise.

Bit of a net schizzo with several virtual identities, a different name for each forum.

1. Yes, with or without the ™. On one forum I had to re-register and am now VoG II.

2. Yes but PCA is always my first (and last) port of call.

Was PCA your first forum or had you already dipped your toe in elsewhere.

  gudgulf 20:39 26 Oct 2004

1. Yes

2. Yes

3. Dipped (toe that is)

My name online name is my online name. I dont have one name that my dad uses, one for work, one for the bank, and one in the pub, they all call me 'Me'.

So I have one name in the physical world. And one on the NET.

So that is a yes. But of course, the name "Dorsai' is not unique, nor did i invent it. There may be others out there. So if you see a Dorsai in another place, it may not be me, just like another 'fred' may not be the fred that you live next dor too.

Does this make sence?

Are supplementary questions allowed?

3. I am a PCA virgin.

  iambeavis 22:32 26 Oct 2004

1. No.

2. Yes.

3. Yes (PCA was the first).

  niknax 22:37 26 Oct 2004

1. yes
2. yes
3. first
