The only letter I have had for ages and it's the tv licence renewal notice telling me it is now a massive £135-50.

So that will be 37p a day?

Brilliant value - worth every penny!

Twice as brilliant for some reason?

You get what you pay for. The less you pay the worse the service. I don't think BBC TV output is as good as it used to be but there's a lot of competition now and ratings are everything (unfortunately).

Radio and their website are good, though.

GANDALF <|:-)> - to paraphrase Mr Micawber, 37p a day is only good value if you have 38p spare income, but it's a point well made.

If you do not have 38p per day spare income then you do not get TV...simple as that. No person has died from lack of TV and it is not really a necessity.

It would be good value if it was something that you actually required and you wanted to pay for, but as it is a bill that is forced on you and you have no choice, whether you use their services or not, then I can't see how it is classed as good value.

The BBC website is worth much more than 37p a day on it's own.

Comes out of my bank every month hardly notice it about £11 or something like that

better value than up to a thousand pound fine for not having one I reckon :-)
