My goodness 85years old I never thought that he was that old.
A very good Actor.
He was also very well known for his hairstyle and many a barber used to say to their customers what can I do for you today.
Just give me a Tony Curtis was the ever increasing reply.
It was very popular in the 60's.

I remember him well from The Persuaders with Roger Moore. Watching him being interviewed, he always came over as a genuine person to me.

Two of his best films IMHO were "Some like it hot" with Jack Lemon and playing a convict chained to Sidney Poitier. Forgotten the name of the film. Old age you see.

I was quite suprised listening to the news today that he never won an oscar.
