Spammer 'signs' his e-mails

Am I alone in this?

I believe that the vast majority of the spam I receive is from the same single lunatic - and I currently receive as many as 5 an hour (and, yes, I am just about to change my e-mail address).

Agreed the spammer changes e-mail address and location every time but I believe he 'signs' his work.

I've noticed that every e-mail address starts with 'dw' wherever it originates from.

For example an e-mail address could be [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected]

Am I making something out of nothing or are these the 'signatures' of a single spammer?

Looks like a 'signature' of a loony with nothing else to do. As you say change email address.

Wonder if it's a Spambot; click here .
I use AOL's email service in the main, from within the browser, and their spam filtering must be good as I hardly get and spam. Have had two in the last week which is a bit higher than usual.
