Lost Beagle 2 probe found intact-ish in Mars. Thought to have been smashed after a high speed touchdown. Scientists will perhaps take some consolation from the evidence that they almost made it.

Just not quite.

How far away is the rover?

How far away is the rover?

As Curiosity can manage 8.3 metres per hour at a push, it'd probably be quicker to get the RAC to start a manned Mars program from scratch then send somebody to fix it.

*As Curiosity can manage 8.3 metres per hour at a push, it'd probably be quicker to get the RAC *

That depends upon how far away it is, if 12 metres then 90 mins, much the same as RAC.
