Sir Alan Sugar urged to quit The Apprentice

Sir Alan Sugar will reportedly hold talks with the BBC this week over his future on The Apprentice.

The business tycoon is under increasing pressure to quit the show after accepting a job and peerage from the Prime Minister, reports the Daily Mail.

The Conservatives have lodged a complaint with the BBC Trust, claiming that the two roles are 'totally incompatible' and in clear breach of the corporation's rules on political impartiality.

But if you read the Daily Mail's story it states that Sralan has already cleared the issue with the BBC:

You either love him or hate him, but Sir Alan does have a very successful business CV, despite one or two setbacks over the years.

In the current situation, Labour would have been better employing the services of Paul Daniels.

Cant disagree on you post at all!

Is he the only person to think he's doing a good job?
After the Euro & local elections their are going to be a lot of Labour MP's collecting their P45's when a general election comes along!

That's why they are quite happy to sit tight for another year - lots of money would otherwise go to waste along with end of being an MP payoffs and pensions final totals.
