Why didn't somebody tell me that cotton shrinks?

Had I been cognisant of that fact we would not now have duvet covers the size of pillowslips.

Cotton? What's that? I assume this fibre shrinks in the wash?
That machine I re-new, every few years, you tend to put clothes in?

Well, yes. My old Mum used to boil the sheets in a good old coal fired boiler.

With deepest respect do you read the labels on these thingamajigs? It should show 'icons' for what to do, how to wash and temps.

Iknow,Iknow..these technical things go over my head as well.
Stick to PCs; much easier.
