RFID chips for employees - who needs ID cards?

Fancy being chipped like your pet? It could be coming to a surgery near you, especially if this catches on and your company has sensitive data it needs to protect. This US company has tagged two of its personnel in what is a first for any business in the States, we're told.

A quick job down the vet's at £15/£20 a time for microchipping. I often wondered why someone had never introduced human microchipping, say from birth onwards. Perhaps save some of the ID card saga, and the cost (not agreed) that's going to be involved in that.
