Interesting verdict - unexpected by many.

No joke. I listen to BBC4 on "cans" whilst in garden or whatever (a bit of a news freak (sad).

""Tens of millions" (of taxpayers money) is said to have been spent on this trial - so presumably there are some happy lawyers!"

Brooks' lawyer must be especially happy.

Months ago my wife said it would be Coulson carrying the can and Brooks walking free. I didn't see it then and still feel Brooks has managed to dump the blame solely on him.

But it is the decision of the Jury based on the evidence put in front of them so who am I to say it's wrong.

...I'm much the same, JB; only I listen whilst sippin' from [a few] "cans".

Exactly, and they know a great deal more about the evidence than we do.

"presumably there are some happy lawyers!"

There are always happy lawyers.

They'll be even happier as the appeal drags on!

If Coulson ends up inside (usual disclaimers) , he will who his real friends are on visiting day.
