Rail staff balloted over action

Rail service staff are being balloted over strike action, which could see services over Christmas being disrupted.

Good timing is essential with these kind of things.

Mr Crowe loves his ballots, the RMT lads get balloted for strike action of some sort every year.

Are they after a million pound bonus?

No, they're not. What a strange question.

Of course it is.

If they decided to strike between 1.00am and 5.00am every day for the next week they're hardly likely to achieve the desired result are they?

"Mr Crowe loves his ballots"

I doubt if he does - they involve the unions in a lot of expense. I am sure he would prefer the old system where strikes were just called by union leaders.

However, ballots are required by law to try and intrdduce some small sense of democracy into strike decisions (I make no claim as to whether they work!).

I deliberately refused to watch last weeks Have I Got News For You, simply because this piece of sub-humanity was on it.
This man is utterly repulsive both to look at and to listen to.
Maggie, where are you?
