I do consider removing of posts by the FE without saying why to be bad manners !

Stand by.

If you are complaining about one of your own posts.Did you contact him for a possible explanation?.

And have you bothered to read the Forum rules which say quite clearly that the FE has complete discretion in these matters?

He doesn't usually do it unless he has a very good reason.
If you step out of bounds he will normally warn you first.
It must have been fairly serious for him to remove it.

The only time I know of without warning is sales spammers. Been offering items for sale by any chance.

  Awshum 14:35 26 Nov 2009

I agree to an extent but it's part of the rules here so you can't really complain.

  cycoze 14:44 26 Nov 2009

Perhaps you should consider sending him a message and asking him direct instead of airing things in public, people might see this post of yours as Poor Forum Etiquette and Ill mannered.

"I do not believe I have infringed the 'Forum Rules'".

Read my post again. I didn't say you had infringed the Forum rules.

What I did say is that the Forum rules give the FE complete discretion to withdraw a post and/or thread if he sees fit.

Subtle difference.

'spuds' I thought of that but can't find the link ?
