21°C yesterday, today expected to be even hotter.

Are we in for a 1975/6 summer?

14 deg mid afternoon yesterday, but with a 37 knot wind it felt a lot cooler!

(What's the figure, 1 degree for every 6 knots or thereabouts?)

Quickbeam, I live 1 1/2 hours away from you and I can assure you it certainly wasn't very warm. However keep it warm were you are as I will be visiting the Wild life Park on Thursday

It started off promising, I went out on my bike for an hour, but now it's dmwm to 12degs!

Spoke too soon...

Down in the South it is scorching. Unfortunately for me I have to stay out of it as treatment I had for Grade 4 Malignant Melanoma has removed all my skin melanin and I look (and feel) like one of those troglodytes with no pigment. I used to be a sun lover but that, with hindsight, for me, was foolish. Factor 50 needed just to go outside.

Temps at the moment are - exactly - perfect (for me!). Not too hot, not too cold. Blue sky and sunshine. Cool evenings. Happy chap!

Love it and long may it shine and as hot as possible.

Have to admit I did find 44C a bit too much.
