PC Advisor - Ad Minefield

  ArrGee 00:06 16 Dec 2009

Is it just me or has anybody else found the PC Advisor site becoming a minefield of adverts? I have never had to use my mouse with such accuracy on a site before!

As a compromise, can the forums be left 'ad-free'?

I think you'll find this has been done to death.

And there's quite a few more.
I can picture FE shaking his head in dismay.

Could we not at least keep the adverts to one side aways from what we are reading.
I don't know about you but I will not have the slightest interest in someting when it pops up in the middle of something else that I am interested in.

No problems here.

As long as your mouse doesn't go over the green words they don't pop up but I admit it does getting annoying if there is a lot of them in the thread.

`.. green words ..`

?? I have blue, yellow, red and white that react, no green.

is worth it for a free great site. :-)

They're great, these adverts, no problem...... just keep clicking and following through.

My only little concern is what am I going to do with all the stuff I keep buying. Anyone got a special request for Xmas?

"A small bit of advertising

Yeah? But this is not a small bit of advertising. Like others, I may decide to leave rather than be continually assaulted by these adds - especially the blackberry add. I have no intention of buying one, so why should I keep having it thrust under my nose. Rant over
