New car, cash, best price?

I am considering ordering a new car for next March. I will arrange my own finance, so it will be a cash purchase.

The dealer has already agreed to match the on-line price, which is about a 6% discount. How much more should I hold out for?

Depends what make of Car. some can be pushed to 15% quite easily, but that is of list price.

Hope you have A GM Credit Card. Saves a few more pounds on price :>)

I bet I could get one if necessary.

The fact you are paying cash will probably make little difference, in fact dealers would prefer you took out finance through them as they earn commission.

Thanks, that would explain the sudden appearance of the Finance Manager!

If memory serves, you can finance a Word Processing Computer and a wireless connection so a router can connect a digital camera to take photos.

Sorry, wrong thread.

The Vauhall site has some good offers and should beat your local dealer especially as you have cash and no part exchange. If you have a relative who works for BT then a really good deal can be had. I understand that they have similar arrangements with other large concerns.
