Old fashioned talcum powder works for me applied in the sweaty places.

Loose cotton/linen clothing (natural fibre), keep as cool as possible, get as much breeze over the affected part as possible to keep it cool and dry.

Not really practical for one of the most affected places, the groin!

Not a lot of sweat rash up here, but those midges get into places you don't want to be seen scratching!

Traditionally, Calamine lotion has been used to treat the irritation often associated with a sweat rash. Nowadays Canesten cream is widely used to treat the rash.

That, of course, is a treatment of one of the symptoms, rather than a preventative. The rash is often caused by a fungus, and can be prevented by keeping the vulnerable areas -which are often around the groin and under the arms - as dry as possible by allowing air to circulate. This can be helped by wearing loose cotton clothing.

Natural oils (essential oils) - Geranium Rose-water(Rose Otto) Sandalwood Juniper Myrry Rosewood may help. Try individually or in blends. Follow directions on the bottle.

Mix all essential oils with a carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Peach Kernal Jojoba or Grapeseed Oil.

Massage gently into affected parts once a day.

Follow FE's advice and avoid man-made fabrics, nylon, polyester, etc, like the plague.

Baggy shorts or a floaty dress would be perfect. No socks or tights if possible.

wee eddiethats OK if iqs is a woman, but I suppose it all depends on what turns you on and if your wife doesn't mind you wearing them.
