National Wool Week

I wonder how many people knew that this is the first ever British Wool Week? From an idea by Prince Charles to renew interest in British wool?

Does anyone know of any special events which are happening? It all seems a bit woolly to me :-)

I guess we might have to visit Orkney, or buy an Axminster to celebrat

Surely you're pulling the wool over our eyes...

ha ha it seems like it... it hasn't got of to a raring start or even a jump start (now that was corny)

Bahhhmy idea if you ask me...

I would have thought the Scottish members would have some woolly events going on, after all it is a money spinner.

It is odd people haven't heard of it the organisers might be feeling a little sheepish if nothing happens.

Maybe they're all pretending to be mutton jeff seeing as we seem to be using all the sheep related locutions up:)

It will probably be in for the chop if it doesn't work.

Makes me feel sheepish - could be because I am wearing a woolieover. Most of the pulover I have are pure wool - even the ones with three stripes!

Eish cant spell pullover today!

At this point it's possible to deviate the thread into Victorian facial hair styles with the mention of mutton chops...
