It's probably the first time that I have agreed with Michael Howard. It also reminds one of the truism "Your opponents are in other parties and your enemies are in your own". Nor am I a fan of Nick Robinson, who comes across to me as oleaginous and self-serving. But at least he has reflected on the possibility of damage having been done to our democracy by the manner in which the exposures were conducted. Maybe this was more to earn himself extra exposure than out of genuine concern but hopefully it will cause a few people to reconsider their attitude somewhat.
