Simply commenting- not a 'Help' thing
Last November- customers of ukonline were advised that the server would close by Jan14th and that they should take up with another ISP-So I did so.
MAC number was swiftly supplied and I signed up the BT Infinity.
However the ISP appears to be still operating and I am able to access my account- though it is all Spamish and irrlevant info sites.
I nevertheless check as long as I am able 'Just incase' my new address has not 'sunk in' to the odd person on my contact list /
Is this normal?

It's probably an error, maybe they sacked the staff now cant find the on/off switch.

most likely the email was farmed out to a third party provider and they're keeping the server running until the domain name runs out.

Many ISPs now use Google for their mail service...

Over 2 years since I moved to BT from AOL but I still receive and can read email from others.
I sign in using original master screen name and password.
Other screen names are not accessible any more.
