One of my favourites, why don't they do it any more?

Why don't you ask them?

I have, might as well ask the cat.

Not really a relevant comment, but....

I had Lidl Springbok steak for dinner tonight - £5 for 350g of steak, and every bit as good as a beef fillet. Yum!

I'll leave the irrelevance alone now!

M&S S&S Pork - If it were a good seller it would unwise to discontinue.

If it were a profitable line, they would not discontinue.

2 reasons there - take your pick. Or perhaps a bit of each.

At least one person doesn't buy it because it's too sweet.

Perhaps there are a lot of others.

why not buy pork and make your own sauce. would be better than processed food

  wiz-king 08:03 02 Aug 2011

Pork is one of the meats I like to eat and taste the pork. In fact I usually leave it on the fridge for a week for the taste to develop a little. So S&S no thanks.

"why not buy pork and make your own sauce. would be better than processed food"

Just won a little bet with myself there. Cheers

Nothing wrong with a few premium ready meals in the freezer, I can't always be bothered or have the time to cook. M&S are amongst the best available and as always, you get what you pay for.

You might find another store stock your favourite, as with supermarkets, if a line doesn't sell well enough in store A, they drop it, but store may maywell have it as a best seller. All to do with the area.

Absolutely QB. Plus, contrary to popular belief the dreaded processed food is often cheaper as I don't have a little pinch of this and that herb lying around (and for gawds sake don't tell me to grow them), and easier (Time, laziness etc), and tastier (with my cooking).

M&S ready meals get the thumbs up here.
