Its Friday. Chips anyone?

It used to be a tradition in our family that Friday night was fish & chips night.

All we had back then was the local chippy. These days if I have chips at home I prefer micro chips while the wife insists on oven chips. If we buy in, I like my local chippy but my Indian take away does a much nicer chip with their meals.

My local pubs do a nice chip with their meals too.

Just to add I have a KFC, MacDonald’s, Kebab house and an Italian restaurant locally, who all serve chips with their meals

With so much choice these days, what’s YOUR favorite chip?

I lile either fat mussy chips or small hard burnt chips.

In our house hold sunday evening is always pizza night.

Store bought pizza with extra cheddar cheese grated on top.

Chinese chips are my favourite.

That is the chips that come from our local Chinese takeaway.

I just love Mcdonalds chips or Burger king ones.

Postie24,

McDonalds chips are way to salty for my liking.

To make the perfect chip,

Peel potatoes (king Edwards)
Cut into chips
Part boil (be careful they will turn quick gotta get this just right)
Deep fry for 2 mins
Take out for 2 mins
Deep fry again until how you like them.

Honestly they are perfect this way try it

Just got back from the chippy, southern fried chicken & chips. The chips are fantastic tonight, only had a small portion though, should have gone for regular.

Dam, keyboard needs a bit of a clean now.

MacDonald's chips for me I could eat them all day, I am sure they put something in them to get you hooked. I am a chip junkie

On the subject of chips and all things greasy. It would seem that up here in Scotland we have grease running through our veins and I must admit I love anything with a bit of grease attached, now where did I put that deep fried mars bar.
