The wife's got a lemon drizzle cake cooling in the kitchen, we stopped off from our trip to Newark to pick up nibbles and drinks. The family are expected about 7.30pm. Pens and paper at the ready.

Lets party.

Anyone else having a do?

Yes !!! ... I've got a few cans of beer in, [and some salted peanuts too] like wot I do on any other saturday night, but tonight will be inviting all of those foreign singin' geezeers into my living-room via Danish TV ... for this once-a-year-day-Eurovision-night-extravaganza :o]

I regard this programme as pure tripe .ad will stay as far away as I can. Only Miss World might be worse. I wonder if Ukraine will vote for Russia and vice versa? The voting system is as big a farce as the whole programme!

For those who like it, I hope you enjoy it!

  Aitchbee 20:00 10 May 2014

Sweden, Austria and Netherlands are the favourites with the bookies.

  Mr Mistoffelees 20:08 10 May 2014

Absolutely no chance, whatsoever that I'll be watching the tripe.

  Aitchbee 20:26 10 May 2014

{jb and Mr Mistoffelees} - ah, but this tripe is of a much higher magnitude!

TV has been off since 18:30. Who won?

  rdave13 22:15 10 May 2014

JB, had to go to godoogle translate for that one and it turned out quite well, "Each to his taste".

Very apt for Marmite I would think.

  Aitchbee 22:25 10 May 2014

jb - how did you know about my gout, hee hee.

  Aitchbee 23:08 10 May 2014

rdave13 - half way through the voting process it's neck-n-neck with Austria and Netherlands at the top of the voting ... half-an-hour to go.
