Is It Snowing Your Way Yet?

  Big L 266 11:32 16 Dec 2010

Its around 11.32am on Thursday 16th December. Here in Spalding, we've just had a really heavy shower of rain and frozen ice and the skies have gone very dark with the wind picking up and the temperature dropping rapidly.

Whats it like where you are? If you kindly reply, would you put a time and rough area where you live please?

Damp, 7 degrees C and a neighbour was cutting the grass on Monday. West Devon with edge of Dartmoor in view.

Lots of heavy rain here this morning, starting to clear now (11:45) and getting colder by the minute. Lots of snow forecast for the next few days, up to 8 inches or so. Strong Northerly wind.

Why didn't he just purloin a pony for the grass cutting duties?

Torential rain for a while. Think the front has gone through as the skyies are lighter and the tempersture has dropped a lot.

The deer around here tend to keep the grass down and eat anything in the front gardens leaving their droppings which are better than what cats leave.

There has been some snow in the Nairn/Forres area this morning. The high roads south are becoming dodgy. The sun is shining as I type.

Here in Windsor, Berkshire, this winter it has snowed for one day and it was gone in two.
