Quite a lively scene in, what appears to be, a small market town somewhere within striking distance of London. The rather ornately roofed statue should jog someone’s memory, as should the building it is in front of – unless it suffered during WWII, being close to the Capital?

Unposted with the, as usual standard template on the back and nothing else, no date or message or anything!!

By heck, that was fast! It definitely looks like Maidenhead to me - well done!

Searched for Kent Messenger 1920's, seen on the sign bottom right of pic.

Fist town mentioned was Maidstone so then looked for images of Maidstone from 1920..

Just luck.

Good fun, keep it up Brumas

I never knew the second puzzle was on .. Too quick for me... You may as well put next week's puzzle on now Brumas... Otherwise we will have nothing to do all night.

Eh? Two down and was just thinking of researching (or trying anyway)?
Brumas, still got your 'MapClock' on my desktop. How about giving us 'amateurs' a chance so you can at least give a clue..;)
