Brumas. I am off to bed for a kip. but it looks like a boating lake in a park to me. The cars look a bit pre war-ish to me too.

There's something almost continental about this, although thr traffic on the lake/riverside road appears to be on the left.
Think only locals can get this one. Google is not up to it..:)

I would say it is definitely somewhere in England - look at the formation of those fields in the background. It's a typical English scene in my opinion. But where.....?? TC.
No visible church steeple, which you would expect to be fairly central in England, but the white gable end looks a bit like a chapel.Victorian mid-Wales perhaps (I mean the style of architecture, not the actual date!)
Too hilly for the Formby area Brumas??
I'm sure I've been there but can't quite place it... I also think Wales... I'll keep on thinking.
