Good Evening All.
A nice lump of water, a well set out park and a fun fair.
Not Margate is it.
If it was completely different it would look like southport!
But by golly, I wouldn't like to slide down those bannisters!
(btw, are we allowed to use the word golly, anymore?)
An early clue, it is not in Wales or Scotland.
WhiteTruckMan doing so would earn you a mention in the Ouch posting! As for the word golly, why not, it was good enough for the name of my Uncle's black Labrador ;o}}
There seems to be two breakwaters and a fairly large inner harbour but without much shipping (perhaps shallow?). The clock tower ought to be recognisable. But so far all I know is where it isn't.
If it is not Wales or Scotland, am I wasting my time in Northen Ireland?
That doesn't rule out Eire.
I was plumping for Coney Island...
