That HP advert

  namtas 20:10 25 Dec 2007

Very glad that it appears to have been taken off - maybe reality kicked in and our carping did have some effect.

The sauce of it!

What a shame. I was looking to save £328.:(

This site is FREE and clicking on a few boxes to keep it FREE, ain't a hardship.

Those who use pop up blockers should be ashamed.

You ain't doing anything nothing to support the best site on the net!!!

touch fairly quickly.

Those who use this site on a regular basis. Are you prepared to use a subscription service or click on few add's?

I click on the add's to generate revenue to keep the site going. What do you do????

  PalaeoBill 22:33 27 Dec 2007

  p;3 22:45 27 Dec 2007

when I am on a computer NOT Hosts protected I might then be able to 'see' what the problem was

  rdave13 23:13 27 Dec 2007

Never seen the ad!! Typing % in search box gives me; click here

  rdave13 23:18 27 Dec 2007

Don't have 'Hosts' protection nor any kind of adblocker program just the run of the mill browser popup-blocker.

  Coffee Adict 01:27 28 Dec 2007

It never bothered me on any of the forums, only on the advisor sites, nothing special in the way of blockers other than pop-up blocker but that was never triggered.

  Technotiger 21:42 28 Dec 2007

Adverts on this Forum do not normally annoy me, I know they pay for 'our pleasure' - BUT that HP/AMD advert is by far the most intrusive advert yet - I hate it!! :-(

And namtas, it is still with us!!
