hi, has anyone found a use for the plastic spindle which is left after a new spindle of cds has been used? I usually put this in the recycle bin, but have been racking my brains to see if I can use it in any way.
Don't get many - I recycle the Cd's.
Like toilet roll centers, you might find a fantastic use for for one now and again, but the vast majority are of no further use once finished with.
I use the tubs in the same way as my dad used Lyle's Golden Syrup tins, keeping screws, nails & stuff in them...
Ah... the famous tins of bent rusty nails that everyone's dad use to keep, never used, but kept for just in case they came in handy!
that everyone's dad use to keep
He's passed them onto me they are now taking space in my garage, must get round to clearing them out not been used in the last 50yrs that I know of.
I inherited that tin about 30 years ago, it weighed about 7lb. It is now about half empty and has got me out of all sorts of problems.
Best tin of bits I ever kept.
What do you mean used to keep - never used. I still keep, rarely used though.
