Something confuses me though, not once does the story mention that the support team prompted her to "switch it off, leave 10 seconds and turn back on" making me think were they genuine IT support at all!? :o^

You get car rage.Maybe this is the first sign of computer rage.I can understand how she must have felt having tried for a few months to get help from my ISP.It gets a bit frustrating.

Nothing new about taking 'tradesmen' as hostages in resolving long standing problems and disputes.

Was it not only a few months ago, when a young mum did a similar 'hostage' taking event here in the UK. Her washing machine had packed up, and things were getting desperate in relation to clean clothing supplies, and the failed promises of getting her washing machine repaired.
