Are you having a party this haloween.
When I was a kid kid all we did at haloween was half an hour trick or treat.
Now however we have a big get together, all dress-up, play party games and have a few beers.
People might say it is getting a bit excessive but I think it is another good family festivity.

I'm going to a Halloween party on Saturday. However, I'm slightly uncomfortable about Halloween being turned into some kind of festival because of the way it seems to encourage kids out on to the streets to become a blimmin' menace. Extorting money with menaces - it wasn't like that when I was growing up in Canada.

I know some people don`t like us giving too much info. re. our location, but as I live in a town that is famous for it`s steam trains+narrow gage railways I wonder if it is the place that you are going to? The name of the town starts with a P and ends in a G. As for Halloween I agree with Curio "An American import we could well do without".

' know some people don`t like us giving too much info'...I don't give a monkeys'....we start off in North Bristol.

You must come up my way Porthmadog North Wales, best narrow gage railway in the country and they also have a Halloween special. It is a long way to come but try it some time.
I don`t give a monkeys either, live dangerously that's what I say. Mind you this forum is getting more and more dangerous all the time.

The wife has just returned from Tesco and tells me that the staff on the tills are all dressed up in Halloween costume. It is not even Halloween till next Tuesday. I have very little to say for Halloween or Christmas but it was people like Tesco who spoilt such things with their over commercialising everything.
