A pity they couldn't target 90% of the world's opium.

With all out local growers about I wouldn't have thought there was much of an international market for grass.

Yes, it's a start....Buy although 237 tons seems a lot, it's the tip of a very large iceberg.

The pharmaceutical industries are currently suffering from a lack of refined morphine required to produce the painkilling drugs needed by acute condition sufferers.

It would make sense to pay the opium farmers in Afghanistan, and turn this into a legal operation.

Sadly, raw opium is worth far more on the black market.
