may not be aware that as a rule we discourage threads which are humour-based.
This isn't because I lack a sense of humour (although some people think otherwise), or that I'm a miserable old so and so (see brackets above), it's because sooner or later someone posts something that's totally unacceptable, and then a row breaks out. It happens every time without fail, and is unavoidable - different people have different ideas about what is and what isn't funny.
It's far easier for us just to say that we don't permit humour-based threads, then nobody can be offended.
