Has anyone else experienced the 'last response xxx minutes ago' hyperlink giving the opening post only with no replies and no previous/next post option either showing on long posts?

It happens now and again for no obvious reason.

Yes, from my point of view, it seems to have started a few days ago. For example, the amy winehouse thread in Speakers Corner is currently (10.13am, 20 answers) and repeatably doing it.

I sort of assumed that it was some sort of page length problem whereby the number of messages on a page was such that one more message would cause a page turn. However, this is just a guess

Yes, that ones still doing it for me with Firefox on W7. Is it browser related?

"Is it browser related?"

Doesn't look like it. I see the same thing with FF5 on XP-Home, FF5 using the IE8 rendering engine via the IE tab plugin, native IE8 and a very old (v3.0.195.33) copy of Chrome.

Chrome and Safari are the same

It's doing it on the 'fatted goose' thread now FE, unless you deleted all the unseasonal references;)

Also on the Norwegian tragedy thread

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
