I fed the parking machine with a heap of 20 pence pieces this afternoon. I bet they were all undated. Just my luck! I've got one left and think I will get my Dremmel out and grind the date off. A bit of a polish and see if the manageress of my local pub will trade it for a pint.

One auction on ebay hit £310. So I'm told.

Last month our kids' school ran a sponsorship thing filling tubes of smarties with 20p coins. I bet I gave loads away! :(

click here there are some at £5k 'buy it now' but I think these people are dreaming as there appears to be 200,000 of the blighters which means that they are not that rare..
