Eurovision worth watching again...

Terry Wogan is stepping down as commentator on the Eurovision Song Contest after three decades.

Fellow Irishman Graham Norton will take over for the 2009 contest, which will be hosted in Moscow.

I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than watch anything that involves Graham Norton.

Wogan's commentary was the only thing that made Eurovision worth watching.

Agree with Alan, the change to Graham Norton makes Eurovision even less of an attraction, if that's at all possible.

anyone other than Wogan would be a big boost to the show

Afraid I'm with the 'anyone but Norton' brigade, although, as I never watch Eurovision, I suppose it doesn't really affect me anyway.
Just cannot understand the 'appeal' of that man.

Can I borrow the needles when you've finished with them?

  natdoor 10:12 05 Dec 2008

It could be worse, I suppose. Think of Jeremy Clarkson. Oh there, I've gone and made myself sick again.

  interzone55 10:53 05 Dec 2008

Of course, I'll send them over with some earplugs to block out his innuendo laden voice...

That awful little man, who overacts horribly and performs a plausible attempt at St Vitus dance, gives me the creeps and his voice jars to such an extent that I can only watch him for 30 seconds tops.
