Enjoy driving and scuba diving?

Always wanted to combine the two at the same time?

Well, those mad folks at Rinspeed in Switzerland have designed a scuba diving car! If it was anyone other than Rinspeed, I'd say it was an early April Fool's Day gag, but this is for real apparently. I guess the idea is just a logical step from its usual amphibious cars, but clearly needed quite a big leap in engineering.

Its got a hell of a lot of advertising on it, small and subtle I suppose but a lot of it.

Terrible waste of the car too.

I’m sorry; I resisted the urge for as long as I could but I am unable to control myself any longer!

‘So that is how you dip your headlights’

I feel better for that and now shall go and lie down in quiet, darkened room and take my medication ;o)

Nice one! You could also have opted for "does it have a wet sump?" or maybe something about windscreen wipers....

Where do you change into your scuba gear?

In the trunk of course.

Hope they don't suffer from the "bends" when they come up?
