What are peoples view on eMule?
Any downsides to downloading from eMule?
Any things to avoid?
Or should i just buy the book i want to download!

eMule is still p2p software - if you want help with downloading copyrighted material, you're in the wrong forum. However you can still download things legally with p2p as long as it's not copyrighted. The usual p2p guidelines apply though - be careful for viruses, fake files, spyware etc.

As you're on about downloading a book, I would assume it's copyrighted so you'll need to buy it anyway.

Just to put the record straight i had NOT been to eMule before until it was suggested by a colleague i could download the pdf of the cisco book i need for work.

Now i know the in's & out's of it re: copyright, i shall go & buy the book instead!
