What type of post?

If you mean a request for help related to illegal downloading then no, we don't provide advice or assistance with that.

So the sale of Singles and Albums will rocket then?

I doubt it because the record companies will no doubt follow this with price increases.

Time will tell.

  NIGEY 20:40 04 Mar 2005

i know and understand the record companys trying to stop illegal music downloads, but dropping cd prices may help a little, having said that there are plenty of legit sites around click here but i feel that this problem will not go away, far to popular, and with pc and broadband prices falling all the time i feel thses guys have their work cut out,but i say go the legal way you know it makes sense!these prices to are falling fast click here ,just my input thats all. ;-)

I have to be honest, I know quite a few people who are downloading music and films every day.
They even leave their PC's on while in work.
I wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now!

  Kev.Ifty 21:43 04 Mar 2005

Is that 'Down loading' or 'Up loading'?

It's interesting that they have pursued the people that have provided music to be downloaded by others. Should it not be the 'Down loaders' that are prosecuted?

After all the up loaders make no profit, it's the down loaders that are contravening copy write by not paying for the music that they are acquiring.

Mind you, 9000 songs! What are they? some kind of frustrated Disc Jockeys?

Don't think so!

Have you checked how many people were using KaZaa recently?

just under three million tonight, sharing a total of just under one billion files!....yes that does say billion.

How many successful prosecutions?....23?

Don't think we are all going to be quaking in our boots just yet, or any time soon!

Its just a publicity stunt to make it look as if they are doing something.

Nero fiddling whist Rome burns methinks ;-)
