What a wonderful voice he has, but I didn't understand a word. However, I frequently get the same problem with Opera.

Great Voice.

I was told the definition of Opera is -
Someone singing who should be talking.

and
the definition of RAP -
Someone talking who should be singing.

Someone once told me that Opera was the vocalisation of thoughts.

  Forum Editor 16:51 16 May 2009

Talking is the vocalisation of thoughts - opera is telling a story through song.

  wee eddie 13:55 17 May 2009

Maybe I phrased that wrongly.

The Vocalisation of the thoughts and emotions going on inside the character's head.

Definition of modern R&B: someone singing who should shut up.

Crank up the volume, look at the lyrics and sing along to my favourite band of the moment...

Stunningly original and perceptive comments on the SlipKnot YouTube site above. I bet that a Slipknot fan's party would be a riot.
