I'm not from down south, but to my northern eye the middle picture looks best. From the pictures all of the proposals look better than the "Angel of the North"

It says that the creation would combine a sculptor's work with a 3D advertising hoarding. So who is expected to be reading the hoarding? Most cars these days only contain a driver. By the time you have rubbernecked enough to read the advert what has happened to the traffic?
