In a word, no.

If it gets the go-ahead just another excuse for pouring millions into the South East.

It certainly bears a close resemblance to "pie in the sky".

This was an entry in a competition set up by the Mayor of London, and the winning entry will be constructed in the East End of London. It would almost certainly be paid for by the people of London, which is in the South East of the country.

It would be a bit daft if the money was spent in another city wouldn't it?

I think in a hundred years it may look Normal? A bit to space age even in these modern times. What does Charles think of it I wonder?

"It would almost certainly be paid for by the people of London"

Sorry, the words "international" and "Olympic" made me a little cynical.

I had visions of yet more lottery millions being syphoned off from other parts of the country.

I sincerely hope this silly idea gets thrown on the scrap heap.

We in London are already having to pay millions for the Olympics, and I for one will resist paying a penny more.
