Derren Brown: What a let down

His "The Events" shows were massively hyped up, and I might add, for good reason. He is a brilliant entertainer. However, this series of four shows was quite bad by his standard.

How to Win the Lottery was undone by the fact that he didn't predict the numbers, just showed the corresponding balls afterwards. There are a variety of ways to achieve this, and he was very vague when "revealing the answers".

How to Control the Nation didn't work for me and I haven't met anyone it has worked on. Great if it did, a waste of time if it didn't.

How to be a Psychic Spy was the same as above, if like me, you didn't guess the picture the show was futile.

And yesterdays show simply failed as he did not correctly guess the correct number. All in all a dreadful set of shows.

Secret filming mon derrière! Casinos are notoriously vigilant about secret cameras etc., and his lame camera up teh sleeve stood out like a sore thumb. Having had photographic experience for over 25 years I can assure you all that the shots of the wheel were made to look clandestine. The man is at the bottom of my estimation.

Kept him in employment though. I wonder if he predicted that ;o)
