"Duplicated transactions have been reversed and card holders are being reimbursed"

Seems like a rapid and effective response to me.

I wonder if anyone had a refusal on their transaction due to going over their card limit, which may have led to embarrassment or retailers concern?.

It was only recently when Santander had an 'error' in its system, that resulted in people getting £12.00 fine notifications for supposedly not paying direct debit payments on time. Santander reversed that error as well. But it did upset a whole load of customers.
