It is indeed a fascinating story.

But it's taken something like 160 years to "terraform" Ascension Island. If mankind is going to colonise Mars, I'm afraid we'll have to find a considerably faster way of making it habitable, otherwise budgets are going to run out long before the project is complete.

three sisters is still very bare, only selected area's were planted. shame they did not continue after so many years hard graft.
