Changed Subsidies

This year I can only see eight fields of rape from my upstairs window.

Ten years ago I could see twenty eight.

Obviously the subsidies have changed.

Will it start to increase again now that bio-fuels are becoming prominent?

I just seem to see the pillage from mine. :-)

Funnily enough I mentioned this lack of bright yellow to the good lady only yesterday, as we drove to town.
Farmers will no doubt be following the cash, so I expect subsidies have changed.

Strange, but in my part of Lincolnshire we see nothing but yellow, probably the reason we import so much food

a country road in Hertfordshire last week, on a regular seven-mile journey through beautiful farmland and woodland it seemed as if the whole landscape was yellow and green - it's always a stunning sight at this time of year, and I didn't notice any reduction in acreage.

Maybe this is a 'Scotland' phenomena, certainly seems far less around my area than usual.
