OK, just say you could buy one thing today (money no object) to use with your PC what would it be?

A truely fast working operating system that was value for money.

Sadly, there ain't any around.

A blutooth dongle. I've got one somewhere, I know I have, I bought it, used it once, have never thrown it away, but now I need it (daughter's new phone), can I find it? NO! I refuse to pay the £6-£8 for another one until the entire house has been turned upside down...and the loft...and the garage...

so i'd need a faster cpu as well.

Life's never simple.

Oh dear, and I thought you were an XP fan.

The qualification is "to use with your PC" so a new PC is outside the question. How about a fully kitted use with the PC.

A PC may mean a Laptop to some?

For me, right at this minute, a really good video capture program.

I am trying to transfer all my Beta/VHS tapes to DVD.

I have a Dazzle Fusion USB capture unit which came with Pinnacle Studio. The sound sync on Pinnacle Studio is so far out it isn't true.

I have also tried Ulead Videostudio and Sonic MyDVD, neither of which are any better.

I have since bought a standalone DVD recorder which works well but there are no editiing facilities.

It would have to be a triple screen lcd monitor.
