Introduced into Sheffield center to bring the average age of bee keepers down as well as increasing the city's pollinating of plants.

It sounds quite interesting the idea of city roof top hives, I always supposed that hives had to be in an orchard or somewhere.

So, I wonder, will there now bee honey comb sellers next to the evening paper sellers of the city's streets?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that there's a large bee hive colony on the roof of Fortnum & Masons, where they produce honey for sale in the shop

Not such a new idea then alan14.

The Sheffield equivalent of Fortnum & Masons would be Cole Bros, which became part of John Lewis a while back.
