Good for him. I don't see any problem with the lad at all.

  Totally-braindead 19:26 15 Jun 2007

I don't have a problem with it either though I'm sure others will.
I think its ridiculous that some people have been charged with protecting themselves and their property against criminals. Some of the criminals have even sued the people who injured them as they attempted to rob them. The worlds gone mad.

Not "the worlds gone mad" TB. In some countries you are allowed to protect your own. Only in certain countries are the criminals allowed to get away with sueing their own victims.

It's America, where "the home is your castle" and you can do what ever you want to the scum that break into your house.

Only wish it was possible here.

How dare you suggest that we interfere with the ungodlys' human right to rape and pillage to their hearts' content!

  Stuartli 23:38 15 Jun 2007

In South Africa some motorists have flame throwers installed under their vehicles to deter car hijackers.

If you don't commit the crime you have nothing to fear.

They are clever, you have an extra pedal, out of the way of the others. The idea being, guy gets gun out and points it into your car, you put your hands straight into the air and tap the pedal!

Thats dinner sorted.

if its a manufacturers option or an aftermarket fit.

I've looked on halfords website, but without success...

You should have looked under hot rod exhaust systems..:-)

  Si_L 13:53 16 Jun 2007

Its an aftermarket fit, costs about £3500 :)

You make up for the costs by not having to spend as much on your weekly shopping bill.
